Seattle Therapy and Counseling

Psychotherapy and Counseling Services for Couples and Adult Individuals

About Our Practice

We are an intentionally small, relationally and attachment-focused private practice dedicated to fostering a community of collaboration and support among clinicians. By maintaining a close-knit team, we emphasize personal and professional growth, enabling us to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our clients. Our practice utilizes a range of evidence-based therapies, and emphasizes a relational and collaborative approach with our clients. We prioritize continuing education and mutual support, creating a space where therapists can thrive while helping clients heal and grow.

Therapeutic Approach

At our group practice, we are committed to providing a diverse range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our therapists are trained in a variety of approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Gottman Method for couples therapy, which emphasizes improving communication and building stronger relationships. We also specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), both of which focus on understanding and transforming emotional experiences to foster secure and fulfilling relationships. Additionally, our relational and attachment-focused therapies aim to address and heal relational wounds by promoting healthy, secure attachments. By integrating these evidence-based practices, we strive to offer comprehensive and compassionate care to support our clients' growth and well-being.

Focus Areas

Our practice is dedicated to supporting clients through a wide range of mental health challenges and life experiences. We offer care for anxiety and depression, helping clients manage symptoms and improve their overall quality of life. Our team is experienced in addressing grief and trauma, providing support for healing and recovery. We assist individuals navigating life transitions, relationship conflicts, and offer premarital and couples counseling to build strong, healthy relationships. Additionally, we support clients working through divorce, infidelity, and the complexities of these experiences. Our therapists are equipped to help with stress management, substance use issues, and burnout, fostering resilience and well-being. We also focus on enhancing self-esteem and addressing anger issues, empowering clients to lead more fulfilling lives. Through our comprehensive approach, we aim to provide the highest quality of care to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

About the role

You may be a good fit to work with us if:

  • You prefer to focus your time on being a therapist, without the burden of insurance paperwork, marketing, advertising, website design, SEO, scheduling, billing, and other administrative work required to run a private practice

  • You enjoy working with both couples and adult individual clients

  • You are an LMHC, LMFT, LMHCA, or LMFTA

  • You value participating in regular consult groups for support and continuous growth as a therapist

  • You are dedicated to delivering exceptional therapeutic care through maintaining high-quality standards and pursuing ongoing education

  • You thrive in a collaborative team environment and are eager to develop professionally alongside your colleagues.

As a private practice, our intention is to facilitate a space where therapists can focus their energy on what they do best: supporting others with their therapeutic skills. At the same time, we value the time clinicians need outside of their working hours to connect with friends and family, pursue their own interests, and live fulfilling lives. We understand that low reserves in your own tank can quickly lead to burnout and work that falls below the quality you want to provide. When your tank is full, however, you can support others from a place of abundance.

We are a turnkey practice for therapists, valuing your independence while providing a support system. In addition to marketing, advertising, and other business administration essentials, we provide the furnished office, EHR, and other necessities to perform your work effectively. You get to focus on your own style and professional development without feeling isolated in your work. A therapy practice involves a significant amount of work outside direct client interactions. From managing administrative tasks to marketing your services, the demands can be overwhelming. We are here to support you each step of the way. Our goal is to simplify these processes, so you can focus on delivering exceptional care to your clients.

We are heavily influenced by attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the work of Sue Johnson. We also believe that Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an incredibly effective modality and rely on it as a cornerstone of our practice. Most importantly, we believe that transformative therapeutic work begins with the relationship between client and therapist. We are committed to fostering these relationships to facilitate meaningful and lasting change.
